Finished Double Page Spread

(CLICK TO ENLARGE AND READ MY DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD)
This is my final double page spread, I have split the page into 6 columns with the picture over three of the columns and the text over the other three. I did this because the style of my pictures did not look right when they were cut out and so I felt that this was an appropriate format that looks classy and therefore linking in with my front cover. I used a drop caps on the first letter of my article because this is a typical method used in any magazine which draws the reader to start reading from the beginning. Over the top of this I have the word 'exclusive' which is a type face that can be seen on my contents page. To get this colour I colour picked from the background of this page and lightened it so that it would stand out. The same colour is used for 'S' and 'G' which stands for Sebastian Gold, I thought this would be a new and creative way of putting text onto the page. Abbreviating this will fit in with the younger market.

In my text I have used pull quotes; these are little segments of the article which I felt would intrigue the reader and interest them in the article. Again this is used by many magazines in order to catch the readers attention.

On the side of the picture I placed a small caption which says a little bit about where the photo was taken, I did this as I thought it was obvious that the photo shoot had taken place in a bedroom.
