This is the first draft of my double page spread I have placed the picture over the right hand side of the page; originally I was using a different picture but this was landscape and so was difficult to place on the page. I have used the same brown background that can be found on the front cover of my magazine; linking in the house style. The text has been split into three columns and it is a typical Q&A with the addition of an introductory and ending paragraph. The text in the middle is to promote what is inside the magazine I will put white boxes around them and change the font to make it stand out. I have picked the three main phrases I feel will most appeal to my readers. For the first letter I applied a drop cap and used an elegant font to start the double page spread off.
To make my drop cap I changed one of the boxes to 5 which allowed me to indent into the text.
