School Magazine Task

Front Cover Picture
To get this picture i took various picture of Sophie in our school libary to give it the school effect. After looking through the photos that I took I thought that this one was the best picture. On my front cover I cut this picture out and put it on a faded wilmington logo with a light blue back ground behind it.

Title
After looking at many names and fonts I came up with Wilmington Girls the W and the G of this is in a different font to the ilmington and irls, i think this stands out more and looks a bit different. With the W and the G i used the glow effect to make it stand out more and on the rest of the text I used stroke to get a black outline on it.

Coverlines
I have started to add sub headings on the magazine and changed the fonts for words such as 'sneek' which i think works well. I have inclued winter wordsearches in the magazine and have the winter font with snow on the top which looks very effective, i have also included things like tips for CV's, new term dates and pictures of the new and improved common rooms. This is a picture of my front cover.
